The Secret Identity of Devon Delaney:By Lauren Barnholdt

Hi guys! WOW I have't posted for a long time! Sorry about that anyway, I am reviewing The Secret Identity of Devon Delaney by Lauren Barnholdt. So, Devon has this summer friend, Lexi, and Devon lied to her big time. I mean so big that Devon told Lexi that she was dating the most popular guy in the 7th grade, Jared Bently, when Jared doesn't even know her name. Well, surprise! Lexi transferred schools! So now, Devon has to play along. But there's one thing. It isn't necessarily easy. What will Devon do? Will she get caught? Will she lose both of her best friends? If you want to know, READ IT!        Overall, I would give this book an 8 out of ten, and recommend it for ages 9-14. Well I hope you can read this book, because I really enjoyed it!http://laurenbarnholdt.com  Happy Reading!

Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident: by Eoin Colfer

I apologize this is not a girly book at all, but it is a very good read. It is Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident by Eoin Colfer. I recommend reading the first one first, then this one would make a little more sense, but even if you haven't you should still read it. It's about this 13 year old criminal mastermind. You see, in the first book Artemis took gold from the fairies(The People). Last year, Artemis was causing all the trouble with  Captain Holly Short, Foaly, Commander Julius Root, and the rest of the LEP.Now it's Commander Root's enemy Briar Cudgeon, and Foaly's competition with technology, Opal Koboi. Artemis makes a deal with the people about if he helps them stop the B'wa Kell, they will help him find his father and Russia. Will Artemis finish the deal with the fairies before it's too late to get his Father? I listened to this on audio book, and I recommend it because the book is Irish, and the accents are fun. I hope you enjoyed this review! Happy Reading!

Violet in Bloom: A Flower Power Book by Lauren Myracle

HI! I recently read Violet in Bloom by Lauren Myracle. It is the sequel to Luv Ya Bunches. The book is about the four flower friends, Violet, Camilla, Katie-Rose, and Yasaman. They are pushing through the fifth grade. Each and every girl has problem.
Yasaman is trying to get rid of the Cheesy D'Lites their school serves as snack. She's also very concerned about Katie-Rose and Natalia.
Katie-Rose is trying to battle off Natalia, a girl who is trying to steal Yasaman as a friend.
Milla (Camilla) has different problems. Crush problems. Milla is crushing on Max, and trying to not be afraid of his hamster. Then, of course the hamster got loose,  and accidentally Milla steps on Stewy, the hamster.
Violet is depressed about her mother and is a bit frightened to visit her. She is also a little too curious about that odd Cyril, always writing in his notebook. With all of these problems, will the girls still be Flower Friends Forever? Read the book to find out! Hope you enjoyed! Happy Reading!
P.S If you read this post or others pretty please with a cherry on top do the poll. Not very many have.

Alice-Miranda at School: by Jacqueline Harvey

Hi! I recently read Alice-Miranda at School, by Jacqueline Harvey. This is definitely a good book, but a little bit for younger readers. The book is about Alice-Miranda Highton- Smith-Kennington-Jones, a seven year old who starts to go to a boarding school, Winchesterfield-Downsfordvale for Proper Young Ladies. Alice-Miranda, you see is very talkative and is quite concerned about the Headmistress, Ms. Grimm, after talking to Jacinta Headlington-Bear, a gymnast who says  Ms. Grimm won't let her compete in the gymnastics competition unless she finishes a homework assignment. Alice-Miranda also had a chat the the cook, Mrs. Smith, who is longing for a holidays. Lastly, she discussed things Charlie, the gardener who was wanting to plant some flowers but Ms. Grimm said "NO!". Ms. Grimm hadn't been talked to for ten years, and Alice-Miranda had a little chat with her about holidays and etc.. Then, Alice-Miranda sends Mrs. Smith on a vacation, but without permission. Alice-Miranda gets on Ms. Grimm's nerves, and since Alice-Miranda is seven, and you normally start the school when you're eight, Ms.Grimm got a plan to get rid of her. So, Ms.Grimm said "If you're under eight you must do....".Ms. Grimm sets up three challenges for Alice-Miranda to do. If Alice-Miranda fails, she will be prohibited from the school. Did I mention the challenges were near to impossible? Along the way, Alice-Miranda meets friends, and enemies. You'll have to read the book to see if she fails, or not! On a scale of 1-10, I'd give this book a 7. Anyway, I hope this review was helpful! Happy Reading!     Allzie C.

My First Book Review: Luv Ya Bunches

Hi! This is my first review!! I am very excited . Learn more about me by checking out my profile. Anyway, Luv Ya Bunches is by Lauren Myracle,(check out some of her other books). It is a book about 4 girls, Katie-Rose, Violet, Camilla, and Yasaman, starting fifth grade. They experience the ups and downs of friendship, and the mean popular girls Modessa, and Quin. Camilla hangs out with Modessa and Quin, but isn't mean. The 4 girls aren't really friends, but in the end they discover the most important thing, which is friendship.  On a scale of 1-10, I would give Luv Ya Bunches an 8! I would totally recommend this book to a friend. Happy Reading!  Allzie C.
